Cowboys Stadium

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is expecting 105k fans for the sold-out opening game against the New York Giants.  The brand new state-of-the art stadium with the world’s largest high definition video screens shares the neighborhood in Arlington, Texas with MLB team Texas Rangers.

The Rangers game will be letting out about the same time as folks are on their way to see the Cowboys.  Officials say that Cowboys parking was designed to handle the crowds.  Fans are advised to come early and do their tailgating, and enjoy the game.

Wrong Way Accident on Dallas North Tollway

Although the toll systems in the DFW area are among the lastest and greatest and state of the art, there is still the inconceivable danger of a crash with an oncoming vehicle on your side of the divided highway.  It happened again last night after several previous occurrences.

It usually happens at night.  So if you see white lights moving toward you, quickly get to the right and slow down; hopefully the nutty wrong direction driver still remembers to stay her own right even though she’s going the wrong stinkin’ way.

Leave Early to Compensate for Rain Hazards

Rain, as much as we need it right now, can also cause big problems in traffic. Remember that wet roads can be harder to stop or turn on – especially when the rain first starts. Leave a little earlier to allow some extra time in your commute.
